A Global Healthcare Problem

A digital map of the world

This issue affects 5 million individuals in India, resulting in an estimated 100,000 deaths each year.

OUR AIM

To develop and launch a FREE App to reduce the number of deaths in India

This FREE app embodies the core values of the Hyam Institute, as we strive to leverage resources to eliminate or, at the very least, mitigate global challenges like health, housing, food, and social crises.

OUR APP

No login required

The user is not required to register or enter any personal details.

No data extracted

The user is therefore not targeted by email, text, calls or advertisements.

No revenue generated by this App

This App will be developed simply to help save up to 100k lives each year in India.

We cannot share the specific details of the app, but significant progress has already been achieved.

  • We have successfully developed a functional prototype of the app.

  • This prototype meets all the necessary functional requirements.

  • The application is centred around four key features, each to be user-friendly and straightforward.

  • Its interface is designed to be clear, quick, and intentionally simple, with core functions that operate without an internet connection, ensuring usability in remote regions.

  • There are no user accounts, personal data collection, or advertisements, meaning the app does not generate any revenue.

  • It has been developed to simply solve a global health issue.

In addition to this user app, the project team has created a complementary clinical reporting tool specifically for physicians and hospital clinicians.

  • The initial app focuses on saving lives in the field, while the clinical tool documents the subsequent events: tracking patient outcomes and information across all 36 Indian states, including 8 union territories, in a structured and anonymised format. (Again, no personal information is taken)

  • Each case produces a unique reference and is recorded at the Hyam Institute as structured data, prepared for analysis, research, and policy application.

This dual-app model means:

Each deployment of the app creates foundational evidence that can influence decision-making, guide government and WHO recommendations, and inform national strategies. Most importantly, this will offer an accurate and true representation of death and survival rates in India for the first time, which is essential for effectively addressing global health challenges.

This App is in the Development Stage:

Therefore, specific details of this app, including its name, purpose and application, are being withheld at this stage of its development.
